Zilol Baxt is a сomfortable 3-star hotel in close vicinity to Samarkand’s city centre. It is on a busy roundabout and though the location is central it is slightly far from major tourists sites. To get to Registan Square you would probably need to take a taxi and have a 5-7 minutes ride. Taxis are plentiful and very cheap (4000 -5000 sum, which is just 50 US cents, half a dollar).

This hotel features traditional Uzbek architecture. The hotel itself is very clean, rooms are adequate, comfortable bedding, showers work great. 24 hours front desk service and the staff speak decent English language. Friendly staff and good service.

The hotel consists of 8 Junior Suites, 48 beautiful spacious double and twin bedrooms. All the rooms are fully furnished, air conditioned and each of them includes TVs, direct dialing telephone line and mini bar and well equipped bathroom. Rooms ate quiet and well insulated. No lifts means no disabled access to rooms above ground level or restaurant.

They serve a decent buffet breakfast. All in all this is a good middle category hotel to stay overnight with good service, decent amenities and value for money.
