Rohat is a budget hotel, basic and clean with comfortable air conditioned rooms. The location is not central but 'Mirzo Ulugbek' Metro station is about 5 min walking distance away, which is very convenient and cheap to get around the Tashkent city. There are not that many eateries around, but a small corner cafe across the street has a decent selection. There is a fresh market and a mall nearby with a coffee shop and a large grocery store.
The rooms are clean, fairly large and well air-conditioned, every room has a working safe and reliable Wi-Fi. They are very basic in decor, but this is a budget hotel, so that should be up to expectations. Each room has a balcony but you can't access as the door is disabled. Beds are hard as in most hotels in Uzbekistan. No safe in the room. This is a smoking hotel, there are no rooms designated as no-smoking. Ask for a room on the opposite side from the main road for quietness. Weird thing is that for standard rooms they only offer twin beds, so if you want a double bed, you have to upgrade to a deluxe.
Reception is very helpful and speak good English, but ground staff doesn't know much English, but it is manageable. Everyone is extremely friendly.
The breakfasts is delicious, food quality matches local standards. Hotel restaurant does not serve lunch or dinner.
A budget hotel with good service close to Metro, a bit down with cleanliness. Good for a short trip
