Hotels

Kukaldosh is a small family run hotel placed in the center of Bukhara and very close to all of the local attractions. It is within walking distance to most of the local landmarks and there are a number of great restaurant choices near by. Hotel is more like a guesthouse, quite small with about 20 rooms. The decor is nice in the traditional style and had a lot of charm, with a nice patio in the center.

Rooms are of a decent size and clean, but lack any charm, especially due to the dim lighting. Each room of the hotel is equipped with TV, Fridge and air conditioner. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom has a nice tube and hairdryer.

Wifi is painfully slow, but that is a problem in Uzbekistan in general. Amicable receptionists gives responsive attitude to every person who stays here.

Breakfast room is a pleasure to be in - from walls to ceilings, elements of the local history and folk culture are beautifully on display. Breakfast is basic at best, but you could order food. It is nice to have a tea sitting on the summer yard.

Rather odd from the outside - nice and cosy inside. Good location, adequate service.
