Hotel Kabir is a small family run hotel in a prime position right in the heart of Bukhara. The hotel is set in the Jewish quarter on the Lyab Complex itself. This means practically everything in Bukhara is walking distance from the hotel. In the evenings the Lyab complex is the best place to be as there are open air dining options there and a waterfront, as well as venues for shows. That means you barely have to step out of the hotel and its all there. Just be aware that the entrance to hotel is tucked away, might be not so easy to find.
The accommodation is very comfortable, though not all rooms have a view as some open onto adjoining construction. Although this is a small hotel, the rooms are of good sizeб well equipped and there is even a mini fridge! Rooms has an excellent air conditioning that is very important in summer time.
The Hotel Manager is very welcoming, very helpful and speak good English unlike the rest of the stuff, but this is manageable. The staff is very friendly.
Breakfast is mixed, a buffet style one with a good choice of fruits, tomatoes, pancakes, bread, delicious porridge etc. with fried egg and sausages to follow.
Fantastic service, location and facilities. Price to quality ratio is really great! There are numerous hotels in the heart of Bukhara but it would be very hard to go wrong with this one.
