The Old Khiva Hotel is new 3 star hotel, which is located in the heart of the Khiva city within walking distance from the main entrance "Ota Dorvoza".

The western gate of the Ichan-Kala Fortress is just 50 meters away from this family run hotel. Guests can find  areas endowed with singular charms of the old city scenery and spirit. Taking a short leisurely walk from the hotel you can purchase handicrafts and souvenirs and fashion items in the main shopping streets and in the sixteenth century, Silk Road markets.

The Old Khiva Hotel offers 21 comfortable guests rooms decorated in classic oriental style. All rooms are equipped with the satellite TV, air-conditioner, international telephone line. Rooms are fairly small with a rock-hard bed and with little in the way of extra comfort. Likewise, the bathroom are a little cramped. Front rooms have view of the old city walls, the others have a dingy outlook.

Also, this hotel provides guests with the wireless internet access in the hotel lobby.

Breakfast is adequate, with fruit, a fried egg or two, plus bread and cheese/sausage. There is no restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast is served in the centre of the common room, with all rooms pretty much adjacent to it (i.e. when you're a light sleeper you'll be up from 6:45h). There are tables, etc on the patio outside. Service is friendly and polite.
