Grand Art Hotel (former Grand Raduss JSS) is located close to huge Russian Orthodox church, Russian embassy and a a small traditional 'Mirobod' market, which is also called with an old name Hospital market. Calm quiet area just off the main Street. The hotel is rather far from city centre, far from the nearest metro stations which are 'Toshkentskya' and 'Oybek'.
There is a supermarket open until late around (50 m or so), in case you need food or water. This is middle size hotel with just 25 rooms in total including 24 twin rooms and 1 LUX-room with 1 double bed. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a picturesque national Uzbek style.
The hotel has spacious rooms and halls. Rooms are cleaned on daily basis. Amenities in air-conditioned rooms include minibars and hair dryers. Bathrooms basic but clean. Wireless Internet access is available free of charge.
The breakfast is adequate (eggs, desserts, uzbek food, fruit, strong coffee). All stuff friendly and realize each your request in time.
Grand Art hotel has seen better times. Pricing is the same that charge other hotels of higher categories. So tourists are encouraged to check for other options with better location.
