The architecture of the Tashkent Metro is one of the most beautiful in the world, and it is a traditional destination for tourists and guests...
Hotels
Relatively new hotel Grand Atlas Hotel is located in slightly away from centre of Tashkent, a 10-minute walk from ‘Sobi Rakhimov’ Metro Station. There are not much to see for the tourists in the surrounding area, but going around Tashkent by Metro or taxi is not a problem as transportation is quite cheap. The hotel has a terrace and private territory with garden. There is also a small outdoor pool, very basic fitness centre and a restaurant. There is no lift.
Rooms are quite spacious and adequately furnished. Each room will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a minibar. The private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and bathrobes, but no slippers. Beds are large and quite comfortable.
The hotel clearly needs a good management as there are so many minor details that in the end can leave a negative impression from the stay. The staff is unmotivated, the restaurant service is flimsy, housekeeping is careless, and etc.
The breakfast is very basic, only eggs and sausages.
There are clearly better hotels in this price category available in Tashkent with higher standards of service and better location.
