Euro Asia Hotel has an excellent location within walking distance from the historical sites, it has an excellent view of the important historical sites. It is in a residential neighborhood of Old Khiva. Even so, it is only about 5-10 minutes' walk to the center for restaurants, markets, and souvenir shops. Khiva usually becomes very quiet after dark (no real nightlife here) but it is generally safe to walk around. This is small hotel of around 20 rooms. There are no elevators. Interior of the hotel is not really good, and there are much more interesting hotels in Khiva with character and national décor.
Rooms are spacious and clean, with basic amenities, but nothing really fancy.
Breakfast in the basement dining room is standard basic but adequate.
The staff are well spoken in English and is very helpful, 24 hours service front desk. Wifi is of poor quality but this is a prevalent problem all across Uzbekistan.
Overall clean and tidy hotel but without real character. Will do for a short stay.

A comfortable hotel within easy reach of all that needs to be seen in Khiva. It's, supposedly, best or second to best in Khiva, take it; Khiva makes the effort worthy! Service is on a downside, but again for the service better go to smaller boutique hotels that are family run and treat the guests as their own friends. For a short stay of 2 to 3 days, the hotel fits the bill.
