Main attribute of Caravan hotel is proximity to old Bukhara. Although the hotel is located at the edge of Old Town, opposite of the Ark of Bukhara (the massive fortress) the quality of hotel and service leaves to wish for much more. It looks as if nothing was done in the last few years to renovate it. There aren't many restaurants nearby. The hotel has inner courtyard with a small garden.
Simple rooms with plain furniture, no-frills bathroom. Rooms are old and in dire need of renovation and new furniture to meet the standards. Beds definitely need new matrasses. The shower is just a hand shower mounted on the wall. Water flow weak. Closet has only two hangers. Modern TV set, even with BBC. Aircon is working quietly and effectively.
Breakfast is served in the basement, and the breakfast itself is very average.
Wi-fi very slow, hardly any internet access in the room, but better in the lobby.
The staff is friendly and speaks English.
Average 3* tourist hotel located at the edge of Old Town of Bukhara. Friendly staff but very modest facilities.
