Asia Bukhara hotel was opened in April 2006. This is an attractively looking hotel immediately adjacent to the old town of the city surrounded by the monuments from XII-XVI centuries. The location is amazing- right at the crossroads of the bazaars and the main well-known monuments of Bukhara are nearby within easy reach by walk. The entrance was built in the style of ancient "madrassah". Location is great indeed, just next to the Nadir Divan Begi mederese and Labi Hauz pool complex. Many restaurants, souvenir shops and site seeing spots located around. There are wonderful shopping opportunities for local souvenirs but be ready to haggle. Street lighting not good, that’s why we recommend taking a torch for nighttime

Dining at Asia Bukhara hotel
Breakfast in the hotel is average, standard Uzbek fare. There is wide choice: porridge, cereals, fresh breads and pastries, fresh yoghurt, "homemade" apple compote, selection of cheeses, meats etc for the breakfast. Food in the restaurant is not great but decent. The restaurant offers international and local food.In the small bar at the entrance you can order a good espresso.Cafes across the street by the lake are cheaper and the setting is more atmospheric than in the hotel.You can have good dinner at the Bella Italia restaurant which is in 10 minutes walk from the hotel - turn left out of the hotel.

Accommodation at Asia Bukhara hotel
There are 95 rooms. Rooms are big, nice and clean, smart interior and lovely grounds. The rooms are pleasant size, air conditioned, with TV satellite, phone and mini bar. Rooms are traditional and very large with a small lounge. The bathroom is clean with a hair dryer, surprisingly you will also find here a bidet in the bathroom. The room is large, especially for a single traveler, with a sitting area with 2 chairs and table and also a dressing table, so plenty of surfaces to litter. Bed is hard, but big. Carpet is worn, but all seems clean.

Every kind of facility on the hotel: sauna, swimming pool, gym, bars etc. Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and a working air conditioning system which is vital during summer.

Staff is not properly trained that annoys. A good competitor and a visible manager are all that this place needs. One day it will be a good hotel. All in all hotel is OK, very well located in the historic centre of Bukhara. Recommendable stay.
