In one of the quiet parts of Tashkent, 6 km from the city center, there is a small and cozy hotel - the Arien Plaza. Main drawback is that it is in a residential area quite a way from the centre so nothing within walking distance. There are very few shops/restaurants nearby. You need a taxi or a walk to the main road for buses to get anywhere interesting in Tashkent.

Plain from outside it features an elegant inner decoration that immediately catches the eye. The white brick wall, wooden furniture, art reproductions of famous artists and laconic design make a pleasant atmosphere of high-level comfort. The same impression you will get from a compact restaurant hall with an artificial fireplace. The general picture is completed by a small courtyard with a terrace to have a cup of coffee or tea.

The Hotel Arien Plaza 32 rooms are divided into three categories: standard, deluxe and luxe. All of them are decorated in similar light colors and only differ in size and room facilities. Rooms are of a good size and clean. Each room comes with everything necessary for comfortable stay: climate control, flat-screen television set with satellite channels, WiFi-Internet and so on. Rooms have small(ish) bathrooms with corner shower but strong power and lots of hot water.

Staff are friendly albeit with little English. The hotel staff will help you to arrange transfer to the airport/terminal, excursions in Tashkent and recommend the city’s best restaurants.

Breakfast is buffet style with a good choice of hot and cold food though of very poor quality.

Clean and quiet hotel for budget travelers, but in the middle of nowhere.
