The Slovak publication "FN Finančné Noviny" ("Financial Newspaper") announced the holding of the 13th International Music Festival "Sharq Taronalari" in Samarkand, which takes place on annual basis representing rich cultural heritage and art of Uzbekistan. The publication also highlights that the event will be held for the 13th time in the city of Samarkand under the auspices of UNESCO.
According to the magazine, "Sharq Taronalari" is one of the largest festivals in Central Asia, the main goal of which is to familiarize the general public with the achievements in Uzbek and international national musical art, preserve and develop the culture and traditions of peoples, support talented youth in the production and singing directions, as well as promote international creative relations, promote the ideas of peace and friendship.
"Invitations to participate in the XIII International Festival were sent to more than 100 countries of the world. The Sharq Taronalari Music Festival is scheduled for August 25-30, 2024," FN Finančné Noviny reports.
It is reported that applications for participation in the festival have begun to arrive from Japan, Indonesia, Poland, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy and a number of other East Asian countries.

Sharq Taronalari International Music Festival 2024 is traditionally held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, a historic city every 2 years.
