“Busan International Travel Fair 2023” (BITF-2023) took place in South Korea on 5-8 October in the city of Busan, South Korea.

The international travel fair is popular among foreign tourists and is organized under the leadership of the South Korean World Travel Fair (KOTFA) on an annual basis.

Participation of our country in the exhibition with a national Uzbek stand promoting the tourism products and services of Uzbekistan, representing the rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan was carried out on the initiative of the Uzbek Embassy and with the support of the National PR Center under the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by leading travel companies of South Korea, various industry organizations related to tourism, leading Korean airlines, representatives and delegations of foreign embassies functioning in the country.

The exhibition participants and visitors got acquainted with the tourism potential, history and culture of Uzbekistan in Korean language at a specially organized stand of Uzbekistan.

The head of the exhibition organizing committee, Kim Ji-hee, especially noted the growing interest in traveling to Uzbekistan among South Korean tourists. In his opinion, the participation of our country with its stand will lead to broadening the horizons of South Koreans about Uzbekistan and increasing the tourist flow traveling to Uzbekistan from South Korea in the near future.
