The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, together with the mayor's office and the cultural center of the Polish city of Mlochin, local travel companies held a presentation of modern Uzbekistan to a Polish audience.
The event was attended by representatives of the city administration, management and employees of cultural centers, historians and art critics, representatives of business circles, heads of travel companies, and local journalists.
The participants were provided with the economic and tourism potential of New Uzbekistan, information on the ongoing reforms, including the most important of them - the Constitutional reform, as well as the rich history of Uzbekistan, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people, the opportunities of cooperation in these areas.
The visitors were also acquainted with the modern development of Uzbekistan, the positive results of the transformations, ongoing efforts to develop tourism infrastructure, and improve the services provided in the field of tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as the launch of direct flights on the Warsaw-Tashkent-Warsaw route from March 21, 2023.
Video films about historical cities and architectural monuments of Uzbekistan, ancient cities of Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Jizzakh and other regions of Uzbekistan aroused great interest among the participants of the event.
According to the responses of the participants, the presentation became useful and informative and gave an opportunity to get to know more about Uzbekistan, its current life, modern development and history.
Events of this kind which familiarize foreign audiences with information about Uzbekistan, its tourist sites such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, Khiva, and the modern conditions being created for tourists and visitors, indeed invite more people to visit Uzbekistan for tourism and business purposes.
