Uzbekistan participated in the international tourism exhibition "Korea International Tourism Show - KITS 2023", which took place on August 11-13 in Seoul, South Korea.

The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions, tourist offices of foreign countries and South Korean travel companies. This is the 8th Korea International Tourism Show - KITS 2023 and was held at the Korean International Exhibition Center "KINTEX".

Uzbekistan also presented its tourism potential at the fair through the national stand organized by the Embassy in the exhibition pavilion. Presentation of photographs of Uzbekistan, Uzbek handicrafts, such as jewelry, wood carving, silk clothes and fabrics, and other examples of Uzbek folk art were presented at the stand. The visitors of the Uzbek stand received detailed information about the rich tourism opportunities, tourist destinations in Uzbekistan, such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, and the tourism industry facilities and entertainment programs created for tourists traveling to Uzbekistan. Booklets and flyers demonstrating the tourism opportunities of Uzbekistan in Korean and English were also distributed to the guests and visitors of our stand.

Participating in the 8th Korea International Tourism Fair is expected to create new opportunities for our country, attracting more South Koreans to visit Uzbekistan and strengthening tourism ties between the two countries.
