
A new tourist train service connecting Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan is set to launch in time for Nowruz, the Persian New Year. This exciting railway tour, aptly named the "Silk Road," will take travelers on a remarkable journey from Almaty to Turkestan, Tashkent, Samarkand, and Taraz, before returning to Almaty. The tour is scheduled to commence on March 20 and will conclude on March 25, offering a five-day adventure through some of Central Asia's most historic and culturally rich cities.
This year’s itinerary includes a stop in Taraz, enhancing the travel experience with a variety of festive activities at the ethno-village. Tour participants can look forward to an engaging program that features:

Previously, the tour from Almaty was priced at 135,000 tenge for adult passengers and approximately 100,000 tenge for children.
