No visa is required for citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova. Tourist visa to Uzbekistan can be obtained with Letter of Invitation (LOI). Nationals of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom do not need LOI. Tourist visa to Uzbekistan can be issued for 7, 15, and 30 days maximum and obtained at any Uzbek mission or Tashkent International Airport.

Tips on getting your visa at Uzbek embassy in Baku:
To get to the embassy you can take the bus number 3 from Icherisheher. The bus will zig and zag for about 15 mins. You can ask for the bus stop at the metro station and they will show it to you. It is on a street close to the metro station. get on the bus and ride until you see a big green board with the writing BADAMDAR. Get of the bus at the stop right after the board. There's a market on the same side of the road where to bus stop is. The embassy is on a street before the market. There's no street name. And there are no house numbers. Just keep walking the street until you see the Uzbek flag on the right side of the road. The embassy opens at 10 o'clock.
